Straight to the top: on a birthday whim these local downsizers found Cloud Nine

A family man, a father, grandfather, a dedicated husband, a hairdresser, a talented builder, a big personality and a fiercely loyal Castle Hill, community member.

Paul Leuzzi is all this and more. Living large is his way and he doesn’t mind sharing a story or two, about his beloved Sydney Hills District. Particularly the one about how he came to live in the clouds and break into the luxury apartment market, after laying eyes on the penthouse he just had to have.

After all, the Hills is where he chose to build a home for his family, set up several successful hairdressing salons, and twenty-five years on, buy his dream home.  “Hand on heart there is nowhere else I would rather live. Castle Hill is and always will be my home” says Paul.

Arriving in Paul’s inbox four years ago on the eve of both his and his wife’s (coincidently joint) birthdays, was a real estate e-newsletter, which featured a series of breathtaking images of a rising star being built high in the northwest sky.

“I took a ‘double take’ not having seen anything…quite like this before. Especially, not in Castle Hill”. Paul was looking at the landmark Atmosphere building. A collaborative design developed by Toplace Group and designed by Krikis Tayler Architects.

With Atmosphere’s arrival, Castle Hill would never be the same. Soaring 21 storeys high, its two residential towers are the tallest to grace the district. Featuring uplifting, curvaceous architecture which transformed the heart and skyline of Castle Hill, the masterplanned community which comprises 378 apartments, introduced luxury apartment living to the region.

Major new infrastructure in Castle Hill

Atmosphere is perfectly positioned directly adjacent to the new rapid transit Sydney Metro Northwest Rail Link which recently opened on May 26, 2019, providing an Australian first, fully automated, driverless system will link Sydney’s CBD to eight new train stations from Cherrybrook to Castle Hill.

Castle Towers Shopping Centre, which is set to receive a $1 billion facelift and become Australia’s third largest shopping centre is only a five-minute walk away and located directly opposite, Atmosphere.

Straight to the Top

“My wife and I had been thinking of downsizing with the kids gone. However, we had not looked at any properties. I was so impressed when I saw Atmosphere’s images, I acted on total impulse, and had the agent in a café the next morning, taking me through the apartment options,” Paul said.

Paul made a quick call on his birthday morning, to his longstanding accountant, who ran a check on the developers of Atmosphere.

Toplace Group more than checked out as highly reputable. Paul was impressed to learn the group had been in business since 1992 and had built over 30,000 apartments.

That was all the confidence Paul needed to invest. “My wife fell in love with the architectural design, high quality styling and finishes (and the nearby world-class shoe shopping!).

“I heard the North West Rail Link was coming and knew it would be a sold investment. We went for it! Straight to top and purchased the penthouse. Now we wake up on Cloud Nine every day. Atmosphere is the birthday gift that keeps on giving”.

The penthouse at Atmosphere was a record sale for Castle Hill garnering a price tag of $10,187 per square metre.

The final opportunity to purchase in the iconic Atmosphere, Castle Hill.

Approximately 20 apartments remain for sale at Atmosphere ranging in price from $695,000 for a
one bedroom apartment with car space, to $900,000
for a two bedroom apartment with spectacular views
of the Sydney CBD and Blue Mountains, all three bedroom apartments sold out.

The sequel – Skyview, Castle Hill.

Following the success of Atmosphere, Toplace Group is developing Skyview, Castle Hill which comprises
five distinct buildings Phoenix, Hydra, Vela, Lyra,
and Carina ranging in height from 19 to 23 storeys (currently selling the last of its second stage).

Toplace Group’s General Manager Larissa Mouawad said Castle Hill is in the midst of significant transformation and growth. It will soon be one of the largest commercial centres in Sydney’s Hills District with an influx of major new infrastructure and investment.

“Castle Hill is only at the beginning of this transformation making it an opportune time for new homeowners to capitalise on future growth.”
