Generously proportioned apartments attracted local owner-occupiers to Vicinity Point at Wolli Creek

Local married couple, Tanvi Bhatnagar and Sardeep Singh Pannu really did their homework prior to purchasing a two bedroom two bathroom luxury apartment off the plan for $780,000 at Level 33’s Vicinity Point residential project on the Cooks River in Wolli Creek.

“Being first time buyers we wanted to be sure we covered all our doubts and got the best value for our money. It was kind of an emotional purchase for us too as it is our first home together. We are very excited about it,” Mrs Bhatnagar said.

“We did a lot of research, met and talked to a lot of people, read a lot of materials over the internet before making this decision. We both realise that it is one of the biggest decisions of our lives and didn’t want to leave a single corner to feel sorry for in the future.”

Offering an enviable riverside lifestyle, Vicinity Point comprises 176 high-end apartments within two low-rise seven-storey buildings located at 30-32 Guess Avenue in Wolli Creek, only six minutes’ walk to the Wolli Creek Train Station.

Size matters for owner-occupiers

Managing sales for the project, St Trinity Property Group’s Director of Sales Will Wehbe said the low rise configuration of Vicinity Point as well as the generously-sized apartments have been particularly appealing to purchasers.

“With the majority of our purchasers being owner-occupiers, our extra spacious two and three bedroom apartments have been a big drawcard, just adding that extra level of comfort, space and storage. As we can all appreciate living in Sydney, space is a luxurious commodity and for many families it is a priority,” Mr Wehbe said.

“Our two bedroom apartments are sized at 86sqm, whereas other nearby projects have two bedrooms sized at 70sqm at the same price point, which is quite a significant difference,” he said.

Vicinity Point offers a range of apartments featuring vibrant, contemporary and stylish interiors all with a north-facing aspect and spacious balconies. The development offers 18 studios, seven one bedroom apartments, 145 two bedroom apartments and six 3 bedroom apartments.

“With our construction program right on schedule, families have the opportunity to buy a spectacular new home and move in by early 2020,” Mr Wehbe said.

Mrs Bhatnagar said she and her husband looked for a lot of properties in Wolli Creek and also in the nearby suburbs.

“Vicinity Point was amongst the first ones we saw and somehow the area and the generous floor plan always stayed in our mind even when we visited other apartment blocks.

“I really liked the layout of the buildings. I am really not fond of high rise buildings so Vicinity Point being a low rise development with only seven floors in each block seemed perfect to me. The apartments have been beautifully designed to make them feel spacious and also capture ample natural lighting in each apartment.”

“We have actually bought one of the biggest floor plans available and also if I compare, we haven’t seen this size apartment at this price with other developers,” she said.

“We also visited Level 33’s completed project Alta in Miranda to have a look at the quality of construction as we were buying off the plan, and I must say we were very satisfied with the quality of work.”

Riverside, healthy lifestyle highly appealing

Featuring fresh, modern interiors, Vicinity Point appeals to a youthful owner-occupier buyer or investor who may be price sensitive and looking to live near transport, the airport as well as enjoy the healthy lifestyle benefits of being in close proximity to the river and surrounding parks.

Mrs Bhatnagar said despite being close to the city, at Wolli Creek you are also close to nature.

“We are really looking forward to spending our weekends in the parks nearby and by the river.

“The display suite they have for Vicinity Point just fits in so well with the dream kitchen I have always wanted. The apartments are rightly priced as I compared them with a lot of developments going on in the nearby areas.

“We feel our apartment represents great value for money. I can say this with confidence as a newly constructed apartment block of this size in Wolli Creek and even in the nearby suburbs is not available,” she said.

“I’m most looking forward to a place that I can call my own. I am looking forward to a comfortable and peaceful lifestyle and to style the interiors the way I have always wanted. I have got all the plans in place and we cannot wait to move in,” she said.

Strong demand from local professionals

Appealing largely to local professionals, Vicinity Point has seen strong demand with apartments in the first release selling out.

“One of the key selling points of the project is its close proximity to the Cooks River and several parks including Discovery Point and Cahill Park, making it ideal for young families with children as well as those who like keeping fit with running and cycling paths,” Mr Wehbe said.

Wolli Creek is located only 10 kilometres from the Sydney CBD and three kilometres from the Sydney airport. Vicinity Point is in close proximity of the Cooks River and is surrounded by more than three kilometres of parklands and gardens, with walking tracks, cycleways, a playground and about 300 metres of water frontage.

Vicinity Point is conveniently located 200m to Wolli Creek Village, 200m to Woolworths and Dan Murphy’s, 500m to Wolli Creek Train Station and only one stop to the CBD and two stops to the airport on an express train.

Apartments in Vicinity Point are currently priced from $465,000 for studios, $585,000 for a one bedroom apartment with car space, $730,000 for a two bedroom apartment and $980,000 for a three bedroom apartment with park and city views.
