Sydney property developer, Ellipse Property has commenced demolition of Stage One of its landmark $850 million masterplanned community, Carrington Place – the largest residential community in Castle Hill in Sydney’s burgeoning Hills District.
Located at 40-42 Ashford Avenue, opposite the Hills Showgrounds Metro Station and in the heart of Castle Hill, Carrington Place will comprise 771 apartments across five, 8-12 storey buildings. Stage One, known as Atrium, is due for completion in Q4 2025.
Atrium will comprise 152 apartments within one mid-rise eight storey building and offers a wide range of amenities. Residents will enjoy rooftop recreational spaces that provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Interestingly, the project has a dedication to home-like apartments or apartments with house-sized proportions.
Ellipse Property appointed Decode to complete the construction of the project earlier this year in September. Two adjacent residential houses will be demolished as part of the demolition works with construction due to commence in Q1 2024.
Ellipse Property Associate Director Puja Khanna said Ellipse Property together with its builder partner, Decode is tremendously excited to start demolition on its landmark project, Carrington Place.
“Today marks a significant milestone for our entire team as we embark on the construction program of our most significant project to date Carrington Place. It’s a major undertaking for our company and a project that has drawn on the expertise and specialisations of a team of market leading consultants, architects, planners, engineers and builders.”
“As the largest residential project in Castle Hill, Ellipse Property is delighted to be delivering such a significant multi-staged, game-changing project for the local Hills community, a major component of the transformation and evolution of Castle Hill.”
Having only recently launched in October, Carrington Place saw strong demand from local buyers looking for quality, larger-sized apartments and confidence in the developer/ builder.
“Immersed in nature and designed in keeping with the natural flow of the Cattai Creek, Carrington Place will set a new benchmark for modern living featuring the most premium, house-sized apartments in Castle Hill,” Ms Khanna added.
Award-winning iCIRT-rated construction company, Decode
Ellipse’s construction partner, Decode won the 2023 Urban Taskforce Development Excellence Award in the Mixed-Use Development category for the construction of its Burwood Grand residential project in Sydney’s inner west earlier this year.
Decode also was one of the first 20 construction companies to receive a gold star iCIRT rating by the Office of the NSW Building Commissioner in May 2022. The company was in the very first group of companies to receive this rating.
Providing an unbiased and independent review of an organisation, an iCIRT rating is obtained through a thorough assessment of all aspects of a business, aimed at building transparency in the industry and trust with the Australian families and individuals looking to buy-off-plan.
NSW Building Commissioner David Chandler said: “The Decode journey aligns with Construct NSW. The industry is starting to get on board with the massive reforms and Decode is a leader as one of the first 20 movers into the iCIRT rating space. And the great thing about leadership is people always remember who went across the finish line first.”
Stunningly designed by award winning architectural firms Tony Owen Partners in collaboration with Stanisic Architects, Carrington Place has been bespoke designed to immerse with its surrounding natural landscapes.
Uniquely, the precinct will be home to over 20,000 square metres of outdoor recreational space and lush gardens, conceived by landscape architect, Site Image Landscape Architects, making it one of the greenest master-planned communities in the Hills District.
A key feature of the project will be a one-kilometre boardwalk running the length of the Cattai Creek connecting to Fred Caterson Reserve, a 58-hectare local reserve featuring picnic tables, children’s playgrounds, along with multiple sports facilities.
Carrington Place’s Display Suite is a stunningly conceived replica of the apartment finishes within Stage One, Atrium.
Designed by the project’s talented interior architects, Scott Carver, it is the largest Display Suite in Showgrounds, giving future homeowners or investors an accurate impression of what living at Carrington Place will feel like. Located at 36 Carrington Road Castle Hill, it is open from 10am to 4pm from Monday to Saturday and Sundays by appointment.
