One Global Capital Chairman and Group CEO Iwan Sunito has announced the rebranding of his SKYE Suites hotel at Green Square in Sydney’s inner-east to One Global Resorts.
The hotel has been a highly successful asset achieving occupancy rates well above 90 per cent both mid-week and on weekends.
Mr Sunito explained the reason for the rebrand of SKYE Suites to One Global Resorts was to embark on a regeneration of the hotel to ultimately, enhance the guest experience.
“We are looking to take the SKYE Suites hotel to the next level, under a new brand ‘One Global Resorts,” he said.
“We have elevated the guest experience more along the lines of luxury international hotels. We will embark on developing a new hotel chain beginning with SKYE Suites Green Square, followed by our site at Macquarie Park with more planned.”
The multi-award-winning building sits above the bustling Green Square railway station, the only hotel on the rail line to Sydney International and Domestic Airports in Mascot.
The hotel’s rooms which have also undergone significant interior re-design famously host the accommodation for the hugely popular annual TV program – Married At First Sight.
According to Sunito, the company receives a lot of requests from guests who want to stay in the rooms used by the MAFS participants.
